Web2024-12-09 Edit: I have solved this a few months ago, on my Unreal Engine version 4.22. If you find this, my solution turned out fairly simple. This solution assumes that your click function uses something similar to "Get cursor hit result" and parses that in a way that can be interrupted, however you can possibly adapt this solution to whatever use case you have.
