WebI only use the 1HR 20d timeframe to do my analysis and trend lines. I also have my smaller timeframes set to the same time axis – (20d) – so that isn't the problem. I'll simply do nothing and my lines will move just move on their own. Why is this happening and how can I prevent it? I’m assuming you are talking about within think or swim, for straight horizontal I use a “price line” which looks like a $ with an underline, and the there’s a “time line” that will do a vertical line. So it’s different tools to do those vs a trendline.

I then changed the the 5 day, 5 minute line to 20 days, 5 minute and it matched perfectly. Worked for me on TOS.
