WebOct 21, 2011 · Unscrew the 2 screws holding on the lens holder of the projector. Carefully remove the lens. Success! the cutoff shield is now visible. Set the projector on it's face and unscrew the back end of it. Note that the backend has 2 set nubs and can only be reassembled one way! the cut-off shield now just lifts out.
WebJul 1, 2008 · The verdict is that the cut off shield is obviously NOT up to snuff with the high end Valeo projectors in these pics. The lens is the clear type and is almost identical to the Valeo lens except its just a bit longer if you measure out to the tip from the base of the lens.
