Webb22 sep. 2024 · For the first part of the exhibition, entitled Past Present, Michael Craig-Martin (b. 1941) has turned his attention to art from the past. Over 15 prints by the artist pay homage to some of his favourite artists and artworks, including paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Piero della Francesca, Georges Seurat, Caravaggio and Diego Velázquez. The artist admitted it had become a much bigger project than he anticipated but one he was proud of.
