When these agreements were created, employers were not required to undertake a ‘better off overall test’, meaning these agreements are not up to date with pay and conditions in modern awards. WebOn 27 October 2024 the Senate referred the provisions of the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Bill 2024 to the Education and Employment Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 17 November 2024. Submissions are requested by 11 November 2024.
