WebWell, your first Mistake was to trust Fextralife. Their Builds are often badly optimized and need an experienced Player to survive higher Difficulties. They are flavorful though. Regarding Armor: The best Strategy is to destroy the Armor of the Enemies to CC them before they can do the same with you. WebIt never was. All those builds are flashy but poorly optimized. The strongest build in the game by miles is the Apotheosis Necro Blood Mage with Max Int and Warfare. Second best is Crit Archer, then Crit 2h Knight. Much harder but a lot of fun is Solo Archmage who masters all schools.
