The bleeding was being caused by a large internal hemorrhoid. Though they did find and remove two polyps, they were thankfully benign. The doctor said if it hadn’t been for the hemorrhoid, they probably wouldn’t have found the polyps for another 5-10 years when they would probably be cancerous.
